The "Advanced Battery Technology Innovation Center & Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (Liyang)" was jointly established in April 2019 by the Liyang High-tech Zone, Tianmuhu Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute, and Siemens Industrial Software (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It is Siemens' first globally co-built innovation center in the battery industry and the first third-party platform in the battery industry. The "Advanced Battery Technology Innovation Center" mainly serves the battery industry, relying on Tianmuhu Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute's service capabilities in battery industry testing and analysis, failure analysis, engineering amplification, and Siemens' powerful industrial digital technology capabilities, to carry out common technology research and development, promote the transformation and upgrading of the advanced battery industry towards intelligent manufacturing. The "Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (Liyang)" mainly serves the general industry in the region, dedicated to providing enterprises with intelligent manufacturing solutions covering the entire chain from product design to process planning to manufacturing. With new energy industry intelligence and digital services as its core, this center provides services such as battery product/equipment simulation analysis/training, smart manufacturing consultation and diagnosis for factory workshops, simulation software sales and agency; and fully utilizes the platform's advantages to integrate resources and expand capabilities including the development of production line/laboratory operation management systems and digital twin services.
