There are four categories of competition topics: innovative and creative, innovative product, innovative application, and thematic competition. The specific questions for each competition are as follows:Innovation and creativity are original technologies based on new concepts, principles, and methods, focusing on innovative technologies with a maturity level of 1-5. The participating projects are required to have strong creativity and technical feasibility, and in principle, preliminary product prototypes must have been formed. Mainly aimed at solving pain points and bottlenecks encountered in the development of new energy storage and solar photovoltaic technologies, as well as seeking innovative and creative ideas for future oriented new concepts, principles, and methods, divided into two directions: solar photovoltaic and new energy storage.1. Direction of solar photovoltaics. This includes but is not limited to efficient new material stability, battery structure and low-cost process innovation, component reliability improvement, intelligent operation and maintenance algorithms, cross scenario fusion adaptation, and low-carbon technologies throughout the entire lifecycle, addressing pain points such as efficiency, cost, and scene adaptation. This direction is only open to universities for solicitation.2. New energy storage direction. This includes but is not limited to new energy storage technologies, new energy storage support technologies, and new energy storage manufacturing technologies, especially key scientific and technical issues in the energy storage field such as intrinsic safety, calendar life, cycle times, power response, initial procurement cost and full lifecycle electricity cost control, intelligent sensing and monitoring, carbon footprint accounting, etc.  The innovation and creativity category adopts the methods of peer review and on-site defense. Participants provide application forms for their entries, and the expert committee will independently, objectively, and fairly evaluate and score the participating teams according to the unified evaluation criteria. The winning projects of each track will be evaluated based on the ranking of ticket points.Innovative product categories are market-oriented applications, focusing on samples or product prototypes that integrate single or multiple single technologies, with a focus on innovative technologies with a maturity level of 5-8. The participating projects are required to have a certain level of product maturity and industrialization foundation. Mainly targeting R&D samples with industrialization conditions, we explore advanced and well industrialized R&D technologies, divided into two directions: solar photovoltaic and new energy storage.1. Participants provide proof materials such as the entry book, third-party testing report, and user usage report. The organizing committee organizes an expert group to independently, objectively, and fairly evaluate and score based on the application materials and on-site defense situation of the competition. The winning project is ranked according to the ticket score. Among them, participants in the new energy storage direction provide scientific research sample application forms and research and development samples. The organizing committee entrusts relevant units to conduct third-party testing based on the evaluation criteria, and the winning projects are determined by the test results and scoring criteria. If it is not possible to send samples for large-scale installations, a registration form and product (sample) description can be provided first, and experts can be organized for on-site inspections according to necessity later. The specific testing methods shall refer to the national or industry standards. The participating teams need to specify the number of cycles of the battery cell to different remaining capacities under the predicted test conditions.Mainly targeting the safety issues encountered in the development of lithium-ion energy storage systems, as well as new problems facing the future trend of single machine large capacity and high voltage level development, we are looking for practical and feasible new technologies and methods, including but not limited to safety configurations such as energy storage system integration topology, electrical monitoring, control protection and insulation protection, battery thermal management design, and battery module safety integration. Contestants propose innovative technologies or solutions to one or more of the above problems.Focusing on the intelligent monitoring and detection scenarios of key characteristic parameters of energy storage batteries, we are looking for advanced sensing and analysis technologies with high measurement accuracy and strong anti-interference ability. These technologies are divided into multiple sensing and monitoring directions such as electricity, gas, force, light, and sound. Participants will verify or provide technical solutions and test reports through simulated on-site environmental conditions for the competition.The main focus is on the innovation of fire storage frequency regulation technology route and operation and maintenance technology, seeking innovative, cost-effective, good frequency regulation performance, and high energy storage reliability fire storage frequency regulation technology. Participating projects need to provide actual operating data, testing reports, and project construction materials for comprehensive evaluation within a fixed time period.Focusing on the aggregation, coordination and optimization of massive adjustable loads, distributed power sources, energy storage and other resources, combined with corresponding electricity market mechanisms, develop systems, algorithms or products with independent intellectual property rights, high degree of technological innovation, and excellent functional performance levels. Participants verify the speed and accuracy indicators of their technical solutions by calculating mixed integer programming examples such as unit combinations in specific scenarios.Around the energy application scenarios of the Internet of Things in various aspects such as solar photovoltaic, energy storage, terminals, and information technology, we are looking for WIoTa technology, which includes innovative applications and practices in data acquisition, control, management, security, analysis and calculation in the energy industry. Participants will provide a system level technical solution design for cloud platform+IoT terminal/intelligent sensor based on the functional requirements of the application scenario and the characteristics of WIoTa communication protocol.Focusing on the intelligent autonomous inspection scenarios in complex environments of substations, we aim to find innovative application cases of key technologies such as autonomous dynamic planning of robot tasks, adaptive navigation of environments, recognition of non preset defects, and embodied intelligent operations. We will set up four directions: intelligent scheduling of complex inspection tasks, reliability verification of unstructured terrain navigation, autonomous identification of defects based on large models, and fine control of robotic arms. Participants need to verify the robot's planning autonomy, environmental adaptability, recognition accuracy, and operational reliability through on-site testing in substations.Focusing on the application scenarios in the field of energy and power, exploring the application solutions of AI technology in the smart grid field, this competition is divided into three directions: new energy power prediction and consumption, power equipment fault warning and diagnosis, and power system safety risk prevention and control. Participants will verify their actual effects in multi scenario applications of energy and power through self-designed and trained AI algorithm models, and examine the ability of AI algorithm models to predict short-term/ultra short term power of wind/photovoltaic power; Ability to optimize power generation stability under extreme weather conditions; The ability to identify foreign objects in transmission/distribution lines, detect transformer abnormalities, conduct compliance checks on operator behavior, intelligently review safety tickets and cards, and predict equipment operation risks.The competition adopts various methods such as peer review, on-site defense, simulation calculation, third-party testing, and on-site demonstration for different competition questions. Team participation allows cross unit groups, but a team leader must be determined. The same project cannot be registered repeatedly on different topics.(2) Integrity requirementsThe intellectual property rights related to the creativity, products, technology, etc. of the participating projects should belong to the participating units, teams, or individuals, and there should be no intellectual property disputes. The competition ideas, products, and actual test data are guaranteed to be authentic and effective.(3) Confidentiality requirementsIf the participating projects involve business secrets of enterprises, relevant confidentiality regulations should be implemented. Good news | Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center&TIES has been successfully approved as the second batch of concept validation centers in Jiangsu Province
    Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province issued a notice on the public announcement of the second batch of proposed concept validation centers in Jiangsu Province. The Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center, together with Tianmu Lake Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TIES"), has successfully been selected as a concept validation center in Jiangsu Province.    The Jiangsu Concept Validation Center is a specialized platform established in Jiangsu Province to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Its aim is to fill the "valley of death" between basic research and marketization, and accelerate the industrialization of innovative achievements by providing support such as technology evaluation, prototype development, and commercial feasibility verification.    TIES has carried out research on cutting-edge technologies such as solid-state lithium batteries, sodium ion batteries, lithium sulfur batteries, high-capacity anode and cathode materials, and has developed new technologies such as ultra-thin precision control surface coating technology, in-situ solid-state technology, new lithium carbon anode technology, advanced battery graphene gel application technology, long-life high specific energy lithium sulfur technology, system integration technology, and ultra-low temperature battery technology. It is a new type of research and development institution that integrates innovative research and development, testing and analysis, failure analysis, intelligent manufacturing, engineering amplification, industrial incubation, high-value information services, high-end training, etc. It currently has a research and development site of over 50000 square meters, a research and office area of 10080 square meters, and has introduced advanced equipment worth about 160 million yuan from home and abroad.
