Laboratory Introduction
The Functional Materials Laboratory focuses on the development of auxiliary materials such as positive and negative electrode binders and conductive agents for lithium batteries. Based on lithium battery functional materials, it aims to enhance the energy density, improve cycle life, reduce costs, and adapt to applications under extreme conditions. The key research directions include novel conductive agents for lithium batteries, high-specific-energy silicon-carbon negative electrode binders, as well as failure behavior analysis and related positive and negative electrode formula development for functional materials. Additionally, this laboratory serves as an organic synthesis laboratory within the research institute, possessing the capability to synthesize small organic molecules and polymers.
