Research Direction:
Committed to research on key materials and device technologies for high-power density lithium-ion batteries. Focusing on the electrode polarization issue during fast charging, the studio conducts research on interface structure regulation and electrode structure design to address capacity decay and safety hazards caused by electrode polarization, aiming to achieve lithium-ion batteries with high power density, high energy density, safety, and stability.
Technical Progress:
The studio has developed a negative electrode material system with both high capacity and high rate performance. By regulating the interfacial ion conduction ability, the rate performance of the negative electrode has been effectively improved. Multiple original works have been accomplished in verifying the improvement of lithium plating during high-rate operation and the enhancement of capacity retention at low temperatures. Currently, the studio is conducting large-scale preparation of relevant negative electrode materials and performance validation of pouch cells.
