Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially announced the preliminary list of the second batch of key cultivation pilot platforms of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Tianmu Lake Advanced Energy Storage Technology Research Institute Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “Tianmu Lake Energy Storage Institute”) was successfully selected with the “Advanced Solid-state Energy Storage Battery Pilot Platform”. In the field of energy electronics, Tianmu Lake Energy Storage Institute has become the only listed enterprise in Jiangsu Province. It is also the only company from Liyang City to receive this honor.

This selection aims to implement the national requirements for the systematic layout of manufacturing pilot platforms, focusing on major national strategies and key areas of industrial development to build the backbone of high-level pilot platforms. The selection of the Tianmu Lake Energy Storage Institute marks national-level recognition of its pilot-scale capabilities and the level of technology transfer in solid-state batteries and advanced energy storage technologies.

In the future, the Tianmu Lake Energy Storage Institute will rely on the platform to continuously develop new technologies such as solid-state electrode sheets, build a dedicated solid-state battery electrode sheet pilot line, accelerate the large-scale application of advanced solid-state energy storage batteries, and provide key support for the independent innovation and high-quality development of China’s energy electronics industry.
